FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 1st, 2008 Titusville Florida…SeaAway Family of Companies announced the receipt of a formal ‘Letter of Intent' from the Republic of Nigeria for SeaAway's Sea Sentinel ‘Prior to Port' and ‘Commercial Enhancement' System. The phase 1 portion of this contract which is part of a 3 phase endeavor over 2 years represents a total contract of $750 million dollars.

The Republic of Nigeria is taking a pro-active approach in its efforts to stem piracy and lawlessness in and around its territorial waters. Nigerian officials feel that a return to normal waterborne activities is essential for the well being of the country. The port of Lagos will be installed first, closely followed by Port Harcourt along with additional technologies that complement the Sea Sentinel System.

The SeaAway Sea Sentinel System is a ‘prior-to-port' container and vessel screening ‘data acquisition point' set approximately 11.5 miles outside the formal entrance into ports. The system has the capabilities of scanning vessel hulls underwater for damage or biologic growth which adds to operational costs as well as ‘listening' to the vessels engines via acoustical scanning for engine and maintenance anomalies.
Crew manifests can be validated prior to the arrival of commercial vessels into port.

In the near future SeaAway will introduce its advanced Container Security Device [aCSD] which is currently under co-development with a national laboratory. This will enable shippers to constantly monitor its containers; provide electronic manifests and greatly reduce losses.
